The house terms

01Who we are

CozyDex (“CozyDex”, “we”, “us”) is run by Peak Logic Ruud ENK, a sole proprietorship in Norway. You can reach us at hei@cozydex.club.

These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use CozyDex. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

02Who can join

• You must be 16 or older. We delete accounts we learn belong to someone younger.
• One person per account, and one account per person. Don’t share your account or sign in as someone else.
• Keep your email inbox safe: anyone who can open your sign-in emails can get into your account.

03Your page name

• Your page name (cozydex.club/yourname) is yours to use while you’re a member. It can’t be changed later, so pick one you like.
• Don’t use a name to impersonate someone else, a brand or a game studio, or to mislead people.
• We may reclaim or change names that break these rules or someone else’s trademark. We’ll tell you if we do.

04Membership and pricing

Membership is free while CozyDex is in early access. If we introduce paid membership you’ll see the price before you pay, and Norwegian consumer rights, including angrerett (the right of withdrawal), apply.

If and when you buy a membership, payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.

05Your content

• You own what you post: your images, writing, letters and everything else.
• To run CozyDex, you give us a limited licence to store, copy, resize and show your content on CozyDex, in the places and to the people you choose (for example, on your public page or in a circle). This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies that take a short while to roll off backups.
• Only upload things you have the right to share.
• Photos and screenshots of cards you own and games you play are fine, that’s what binders are for. Don’t upload high-resolution scans meant for printing, copying or resale.

06House rules

CozyDex works because people are gentle with each other. So:

• Be kind. Disagree nicely, or not at all.
• No harassment, bullying or hate of any kind.
• No sexual content, and absolutely nothing sexual or harmful involving minors. We report that to the police.
• No doxxing: don’t share anyone’s private information, including your own address or phone number.
• No spam, scams, self-promotion floods or chain posts.
• No selling or prices. CozyDex isn’t a marketplace. Trades can be arranged privately in Letters, at your own risk. We’re not part of any trade and can’t help if one goes wrong.
• No @everyone or mass mentions.
• Mark spoilers for stories, events and new releases.
• Don’t try to break, overload, scrape or get around the security of CozyDex.

07Not affiliated with game makers

CozyDex is an independent fan community. We are not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, EA, ConcernedApe, Infold, Disney, Gameloft, or any other game maker or publisher. All game names, card names, characters and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

08Circles

• Anyone can propose a new circle. A proposed circle opens once it has 10 members and we’ve reviewed it.
• Circle hosts and moderators can remove messages and posts, and mute members in their circle.
• Circle chat messages disappear after 24 hours.
• We can close a circle, or change its host, if it breaks the house rules or stops being looked after.

09Moderation and reporting

• If something breaks the rules, use the report button, or email us.
• We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms. We try to be fair and to explain why.
• If you think we got it wrong, write to hei@cozydex.club to appeal and we’ll take another look.

10Letters

Letters are private between the sender and the recipient. We don’t read them, but if a letter is reported, we can read that letter to handle the report. We may also have to share one if the law requires it.

11Availability

We work hard to keep CozyDex running and your things safe, but CozyDex is provided “as is”. We can’t guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or that nothing will ever be lost. We may change, add or remove features. Keep your own copies of anything precious.

12Liability

To the extent Norwegian law allows, we’re not liable for indirect losses, for content posted by other members, or for trades or deals between members. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under Norwegian law, or our liability for gross negligence or intent.

13Ending your account

• You can delete your account any time in Settings. Everything is deleted right away.
• We can end or suspend accounts that break these terms. For serious or repeated breaks we may do so without warning.
• If we ever close CozyDex, we’ll give you notice so you can save what you want.

14Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as CozyDex grows. We’ll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we’ll give you notice in the app or by email before they take effect. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account.

15Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Norwegian law.

If something goes wrong, please talk to us first at hei@cozydex.club. Most things can be sorted out with a friendly email. If we can’t agree, disputes go to the Norwegian courts. If you’re a consumer, you can also get help from Forbrukerrådet (the Norwegian Consumer Council), and you keep any rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
